The principal suspect is helping Judicial Police with investigation.

A man of about 36 called Abdoulahi Yananour, was on the night of 25 breaking 26 stabbed severally to death in his brother’s residence at Nkoto. According to police report, the scream of the principal suspect at about 1:00 am alerted neighbours who rushed into the house and met the victim in his own pool of blood. It is said the victim died instantly after being stabbed severally with a locally manufactured knife that at press time was at the Judicial Police as an exhibit. Nothing was stolen from the house while the suspect in question is reportedly the fiancée of the deceased. The corpse was taken to the Laquintinie Hospital Mortuary while the suspect is still in police custody in Bonanjo.
