Packets of cocaine, cannabis, heroin and some electrical appliances were seized August 9th.

Nineteen individuals are currently in police custody after household items and illicit drugs including cocaine, cannabis, heroin and musical and electrical appliances, stethoscope, rolls of cloth, cartons of bags gas cylinders, gas plates and a bag containing mobile phones of doubtful origin were found in their keeping.

Under the supervision of the Littoral Regional Delegate for National Security, police forces combed the Makea, Ndogpassi, New Bell and Nkololoun neighbourhoods in the early hours of Sunday, August 9, 2015, and seized items of doubtful origins without receipts and detained 19 suspects including, Ayuk Stella, Ali Garba, Jules Lakoudi and Happi Henry. The suspects were taken to the Mobile Intervention Regiment N°2 and later transferred to the Judicial Police for further interrogation.

In another development, Elements of the Special Teams for Rapid Intervention, ESIR, arrested five boys in an abandoned building at Ndobo in Bonaberi with 24 packets of cannabis, three packets of cocaine and fake banknotes of FCFA 2,000 and FCFA 1,000. They were taken to the Central Police Station n°3 for questioning.
