The incident occurred at Carrefour Agip, Douala, where a bike driver by name Mikael, was found drugged and assaulted by unknown aggressors in the night of August 20, 2015.

The 25-year-old man was requested by a customer to be dropped off at the Agip Junction. A few minutes after takeoff, the commercial biker rider was assaulted by a man who forced a white tissue to his nose, blocking him from breathing normally. As a result, Mikael fainted and only regained consciousness after the assailant had made away with his bike.

He could not remember the appearance of his aggressor due to the suddenness and intensity of the attack. Policemen who arrived at the scene hours after tried in vain to get the aggressor by combing the neighbourhood. The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, gendarmes in Bonanjo, Douala, are investigating the matter.
