H.E. Lahcen Saile on September 16, 2015 discussed bilateral relations with the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Islamic World.
The Kingdom of Morocco’s Ambassador to Cameroon, H.E. Lahcen Saile, was received on September 16, 2015 by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Islamic World, Adoum Gargoum. The Moroccan diplomat told the press after the audience that the meeting marked the resumption of regular discussions after a period of recess. Featuring prominently during the meeting was an assessment of the state of bilateral relations between both countries.
“We were both satisfied at the evolution of these relations,” he declared. As evidence, H.E. Lahcen Saile showcased the growing presence of Moroccan investments in Cameroon especially in sectors such as banking, insurance, construction, low-cost housing as well as industry with a cement factory running in Douala. He also mentioned the presence of Moroccan companies in several Emergency Plan projects going on around the country.
