The body of Priscilla Tamba was recently found by a head in a farm where she worked.

Priscilla Tamba, in her twenties, was found killed with her head beside her lifeless body on Sunday October 25, 2015, in a farm in Mabonji, near Kumba in Mbonge Sub-division, Meme Division of the South West Region. The late woman worked in the farm that belongs to the Mbanya family of Kumba.

According to reports, Priscilla left for the farm on Saturday October 24, 2015, but did not return home.  In the early hours of Sunday October 25, 2015, the news went round the village of her absence. Anxious villagers then organised a search only to discover her corpse and the head beside it. They immediately informed the Senior State Counsel for Meme, Mr. Justice Afah Emmanuel Annan, who ordered the remains to be taken to the Kumba District Hospital for autopsy.

Eyewitnesses suggested that Priscilla Tamba might have been defiled before being killed and the head cut off. Meanwhile, the true cause of her death is still to be ascertained while the search for suspects continues. Aged between 27 and 28 years, Priscilla Tamba was a single mother from Bamumbo, Wabane Subdivision in Lebialem Division of the South West Region. She had been living in Mabonji on the outskirts of Kumba since arriving from the village.
