Her victory as Section Executive was the outcome of elections organised in London on November 22, 2015.

Over 400 militants of the Cameroon’s People Democratic Movement, CPDM, from the nooks and crannies of the United Kingdom cheered Real Estate Developer, Grace Elone, after her list was declared winner of UK CPDM Section executive elections organised on November 22, 2015.

The event that took place in the Youth Centre in Tottenham, London, was the climax of the reorganisation exercise suavely carried out by the Central Committee Reorganisation Commission with Professor Ephraim Ngwafor as chairperson of the Electoral Commission, assisted by Ewumbue-Monono Churchill and Okie Johnson as Electoral Officers. Grace Elone’s list won 35 out of the 58 votes cast while her contender, Dr. Ngolle, had 23 ballots. Both contested after the out-going President Julian Ebai withdrew from the race. Grace Elone will be assisted by Bernard B. Mbelleck as Vice-President and Emmanuel Bayong as Secretary.

The two-phase reorganisation process was officially launched on November 7, 2015 during a ceremony in the conference hall of the High Commission chaired by Professor Ephraim Ngwafor. During the pre-electoral phase, the political map of the Section was validated but establishing that only 31 of the 75 declared branches were viable.  The election operations of the reorganisation conducted at the branch and sub-section levels between 14 and 22 November witnessed a substantial renewal of the party leadership of the 33 branches and the 5 sub-sections that comprise the UK Section.

 After the reorganisation, the Central Committee Delegation held a working meeting with the newly-elected President, Mrs. Grace Elone and some members of her executive on 24 November 2015 where it gave her some useful advice and presented her with party paraphernalia and materials, including membership and contribution cards.
