After 20 years of humanitarian activities, what is your impression of CERAC so far?

I am overwhelmed because CERAC is celebrating 20 years of success. I will like that we remind ourselves of why we are celebrating 20 years. We are celebrating 20 years of the vision of our Founding President, Mrs Chantal Biya because she has been able to stay focus and go throughout these years without getting out of her vision. The First Lady has been able to express her vision and desire for Cameroonians of all strata in the society. Most of all we are celebrating the fact that the First Lady’s husband, President Paul Biya has put her at a position where she was able to do all what she thought was necessary for Cameroonians. We have learned a lesson, not just as CERAC women but just like other Cameroonians. As such, instead of saying behind every successful man is a woman which means the woman is always behind, President Paul Biya has thought us that besides every successful man is a great woman. CERAC members are also celebrating the fact that they had the privilege to have accompanied the First Lady in carrying out her social activities. Today, I am happy to see that some of the women who started the course with the First Lady are still actively involved.

What is the way forward?

We are not going to stop working. We are trying to improve everything we have done in the past so as to do it better.
