Widows, Orphans Receive Food Assistance

The donation was made by the CPDM Subsection ‘H’ of Bonaberi, Douala, on January 10, 2016.

Over 150 underprivileged persons, including widows, orphans and the physically challenged, started 2016 on a happy note after receiving parcels of foodstuff from the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM Subsection ‘H’, Bonaberi, Douala. The packs, filled with rice, salt and cooking oil, were a stitch in time, according to happy recipients who filled the Ngueson Charles Secondary School Hall in Mambanda, Bonaberi, on Sunday, January 10, 2016.

The gesture by the President of Bonaberi CPDM Subsection ’H’, Fakoue Ibrahim, is not only important for the growth of the subsection, but it is a tradition that must respected. After recent polls in party grassroots structures, Fakoue Ibrahim thought it wise to evaluate the subsection and draw up 2016 strategies. On the positive balance sheet read out to cabinet ministers and party members, the President said his subsection registered 4,000 militants for the last elections and their focus this year is to get more militants to register.

To achieve their goal, he disclosed that they will work in collaboration with Elecam to make sure that all militants and sympathisers register this year. A motion of support was later forwarded to the National President of the Party at the end of the meeting.
