A consultative meeting of central administration and devolved services of the ministry ends on Janaury 27,2016.

Senior staff of the Ministry of Basic Education (MINEDUB) yesterday Monday January 26, 2016 began evaluating the pedagogic and administrative activities conducted since the beginning of the 2016/2017 academic year. The meeting is holding on the theme “”pedagogic supervision for the inclusion of quality in the teaching-learning process.” While opening the meeting, the Minister of Basic Education, Youssouf née Hadidja Alim said it is aimed at meeting the goals of UNESCO which reaffirms the importance of inclusive and quality education for all so as to achieve sustainable development.

While reiterating the need for a strong push for quality education, Youssouf née Hadidja Alim said the consultative meeting is a classical and problematic one because it has gathered all stakeholders in the education domain to evaluate the path covered so far while sorting out strategies to solve problems faced. For two days, officials received a statistical data of the number of schools, teachers and pupils in the country, the level of preparation for the 2016 official examinations as well as the FENASSCO B games. The execution of the investment budget and the pedagogic and administrative activities concerning the 10 regional delegations of the Ministry of Basic Education were also reviewed.
