Social Democratic Front: NEC Salutes Bravery Of Soldiers

This was during the committee meeting that took place in Ntarikon Bamenda on Saturday, February 20, 2016.

The National Executive Committee, NEC, of the Social Democratic Front, SDF, party held Saturday February 20th in Bamenda. The meeting that was chaired by party chairman Ni John Fru Ndi saw the participation of all NEC members. During the meeting NEC evaluated the activities of the various structures of the party per region as well as other national and international issues.

In a release signed by the party Chair Ni John Fru Ndi, NEC saluted the patriotism of Cameroonian Defence Forces engaged in the fight against Boko Haram in the Far North Region. NEC members condemned the wicked terrorist acts perpetrated by the sect. NEC equally paid tribute to the excellent job by the vigilante groups who are assisting Defence and Security Forces in the fight against the terrorist sect.

NEC further reiterated its gratitude to the SDF party for the outstanding performance against Boko Haram barbaric acts of jeopardizing the security Cameroon, while calling on President Paul Biya to improve on its ability to pro-actively respond to such trying moments. The release further stated that, “NEC takes exception to the fact that at this delicate moment that civilians as well as our military men and woman are being killed defending the nation, Mr Biya’s priority is convening early presidential election”.  NEC took note of the National Chairman’s letter to the Head of State, President Paul Biya, on what they called “manipulation by CPDM Sycophants” for early presidential election.

The February 20th NEC meeting equally saw the putting in place of teams in charge of reorganising the party structures nationwide. The teams shall be led in the ten regions by the party officials notably, Hon. Awudu  Mbaya Cyprian (Adamawa), Senator Tchatchouang Paul (Centre), Hon. Banadzem Joseph Lukong (East), Senator Haman Paul (Far North), Senator Jean Tsomelou (Littoral), Hon Joshua Nambangi Osih (North), Njong Fonyuy Donatus (North West), Asapngu Ferdinand (West),  Senator Sonkin Etienne (South) and Mbah Ndam Joseph Njang (South West).
