The three-day international forum holding in Yaounde on the theme, “Preventing Embezzlement of Public Funds: A New Challenge for Supreme Audit Institutions in Africa”,... entered its second day yesterday March 3, 2016 with more presentations by resource persons in plenary and two workshops occasioning exchange of experiences by participants. While awaiting recommendations to be tabled today during the closing ceremony to be chaired by the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit, Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam, representatives from internal audit organs of public institutions as well as participants from Supreme State Audit institutions in African countries agree in their majority that preventive mechanisms will help secure public finances from calculated or unconscious misappropriation by persons in managerial positions.
