A 60-man business delegation from Belgium has declared their intention to invest in Cameroon in the area of energy, transportation, infrastructure, and electricity. Maurice Vanderscaveren, Honorary Consul of Belgium in Douala, speaking on behalf of the delegation during a forum for exchanges with Cameroon business men, made the declaration in the presence of Governor Samuel Ivaha Diboua of the Littoral Region in Akwa yesterday.
“Cameroon is one of the important trade partners of Belgium in Africa and we hope that after this mission we will be able to sign some contracts to reinforce the image of Belgium in Cameroon,” he revealed. The visitors will hold exchanges with local investors in the economic capital at the Akwa Palace until March 4, 2016. Since they arrived the country on February 28, 2016, the investors held two days of exchanges with Cameroonian business people in Yaounde from February 29 to March 1.
