The Minister of Transport received the Vice President of Oracle in Yaounde on March 3, 2016.
Officials of Oracle, a US-based company with more than 420,000 customers and deployments in more than 145 countries, offering a comprehensive and fully integrated stack of cloud applications, platform services, and engineered systems, have proposed services that can change the face of Cameroon transport companies, especially in the air and railway sub-sectors.
The Vice President of Oracle, Karim Mokhanachi, in the company of the Section Head for Political and Economic Affairs in the US Embassy in Cameroon, held talks with the Minister of Transport, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o, in Yaounde on March 3, 2015. The audience was sollicited by the US Ambassador to Cameroon, His Excellency Michael Hoza.
Karim Mokhanachi told the press after that they discussed how Oracle could offer its technology in digitalising and transforming the transport sector, especially in terms of security. « We have security technology and airline companies offering the skills to their customers have received expressed satisfaction, » he stated. He explained that his compay enables the modern information technology environment with hardware and software engineered to work together in the cloud and in data centre.
