The people celebrated the appointment of Jaji Manu Gidado as Secretary General of MINEPIA.

On the strength of Presidential Decree signed on December 22, 2015 appointing Jaji Manu Gidado as the Secretary General in the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA), the population of Njikwa Sub-division in the North West Region filed out on March 25, 2016 to show gratitude to President Paul Biya.

The venue was Njikwa where special prayers, fantasia, songs, dance and goodwill messages saluted the Head of State for recognizing and rewarding merit. It was all about honour to an illustrious son whose services to the nation, Njikwa and the community of Mbororos inspired the Head of State to lift him to another level in nation building. It was a day for Njikwa Sub division to cheer the generosity of President Paul Biya.

The crowd puller event celebrated a rare distinction for a Mbororo and one credited as an Alternate Senator, CPDM Resource person, National President of the Mbororo Cultural and Development Association (MBOSCUDA) and a model in management and leadership. It was against this background that Senator Zacharia Awanga said it was a strong decision by President Biya to appoint Jaji Manu Gidado and a signal for greater things to happen to the very enclaved Njkwa sub-division.  His Majesty, Senator Teche Njei saluted Njikwa for standing solidly by President Biya and the CPDM.

The Fons of Njikwa were around with traditional blessings for the faithful Muslim who excels as their walking stick or better still, their tradional "Attam-mfo". Mbororos showcased rare horse riding skills while celebrating the one who represents their pride and hope. The Ngwo and Njikwa cultural and development associations as well as the Mayor of Njikwa municipality jumped in joy with messages that confirm Njikwa’s resolve to stand by President Biya’s winning team in their show of gratitude.
