The Association of Former Students of College Libermann, ACOLI, Douala, will host a congress of the Pan-African Union of Former Jesuit Students in Douala from April 15-17, 2016.
The objective of the congress, placed under the auspices of the Minister of State, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Laurent Esso, a former student of the college, is to see what alumni can do for the country in terms of development.
Speaking at a press conference at College Libermann on April 5, 2016, ACOLI National President, Pius Bisseck, said the event will assemble all alumni from across Africa. Since its creation in 1980, ACOLI has been helping to settle dues for the liberation of prisoners, offering prizes to students of the college, and is presently building a gymnasium in Akwa, Douala, for the institution.
