Minister Ngalle Bibehe Visits Buea Examination Centres

At the end of the tour, he expressed satisfaction with the conduct.

As the 2016 sessions of public examinations under the Ministry of Secondary Education draw to a close, the Minister, Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe, was in Buea, capital of the South West Region on 17 June, 2016, in continuation of his field supervision across the country. He visited Government Teachers Training College, Mile 17, Buea, Bilingual Grammar School, Molyko, Government Technical High School, Molyko, and the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board Office (CGCEB).

The Minister was accompanied throughout his visit by the South West Governor, Bernard Okalia Bilai, the GCE Board Registrar, Humphrey Ekema Monono, and other local authorities. The Education Boss witnessed for himself the smooth conduct of examinations such as the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary and Advanced Levels) as well as the Grade One Teachers’ Certificate (CAPIEMP) for teachers training colleges and the “Probatoire Commerciaux” for technical students. At the Government Teacher’s Training College, Mile 17, hosting 1,067 candidates, the would-be primary school teachers were already putting pen on paper for their CAPIEMP final examination.

The same serenity was witnessed at the Bilingual Grammar School Molyko and the Government Technical High School Molyko where the “Probatoire Commerciaux” was being written. At each stage, Minister Jean Ernest Massena Ngallé Bibehé was briefed on the state of affairs and the general conduct of the examinations. Minister Massena Ngallé Bibehé personally went through the examination halls in the schools visited, assuring the candidates that all measures had been taken for a smooth organisation of their examination. The Minister indicated that the visit was to ensure the smooth running of public examinations, reassure and encourage all collaborators and candidates.
