The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development held discussions with the Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon on June 23, 2016. 

Jerusalem is seeking ways of intensifying cooperation ties with Yaounde in the field of agriculture. The Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon, His Excellency Ran Gidor, was in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on June 23, 2016, where he discussed with Henri Eyebe Ayissi ways of boosting agriculture in Cameroon through strengthened ties.

Ran Gidor told the press after the meeting that he was coming with instructions from Jerusalem to invest every resource, “We have been in cooperating with Cameroon in the field of agriculture”, he noted. Henri Eyebe Ayissi’s proposals hinged on putting more resources into training share notes on best practices. The Minister also proposed that existing measures be distributed in such a way that more Cameroonians benefit from the diplomatic ties.
