This mobile service application via Facebook is a product by a young Cameroonian, Hervé Attouh.

Thanks to the high rate of mobile penetration in Cameroon and the recent deployment of Mobile Money services, the young Cameroonian, Hervé Attouh and his team have found a way to connect the two and make it possible for people without bank accounts to access the main advertising platforms on the Internet.

Swapps Ads is that mobile service which, allows people to run ads on Facebook without using a bank account or a credit card.  Herve Attouh says Swapps Ads is operated by Swapps Company which is located at the Essos neighborhood in Yaounde. The Swapps Ads application is located on the Web. But Hervé Attouh says for one to have access to the application he or she needs to first create an advertiser account, which requires a Facebook user account. Once logged into the application, the user can start submitting ads to Facebook using Swapps application.

The expert says the process consists, amongst other things, of choosing an objective for the new ad, choosing an attractive image for the ad while entering the ad text including the cost range of the ads and contact number.When an ad is correctly submitted, the advertiser can track the ads performance and statistics from the ads list screen inside the application. The ICT expert says Facebook and social networks constitute innovations that can benefit African and the world as it has changed the way people interact business on social media too. Because many people lack mass communication means to grow their business and connect with new customers, Swapps Ads has come to curb such difficulties and open a new door.
