The International Festival of Short Movies (FICOD) holding in Douala from June 29 to July 2, 2016, seeks to promote the emergence of new cinema talents. Some 23 local and six foreign movies will be projected in the French Cultural Centre in Akwa to spice activities like lectures by producers, cinematographers and broadcasters. The objective is to bring together stakeholders to get to know each other and sign production and marketing contracts, among others.
