Bui CPDM Section Executive Commissioned

Prof. Daniel Lantum led the Bui CPDM Permanent Divisional Team through six sub-divisions recently.

Members of the Permanent Delegation of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) Central Committee for Bui Division in the North West Region led by Prof. Daniel Lantum have ended a wave of installation ceremonies of the six Section Presidents and their executives in their area of competence.

Things went rather fast after the CPDM Central Committee Secretary General, Jean Nkuete, on Wednesday June 22, 2016, installed the North West Regional Delegate, Prime Minister Philemon Yang in a heavily attended occasion at the Bamenda Congress Hall.

The Permanent Delegate for Bui, Prof. Daniel Lantum took the relay. Accompanied by his team members; Senator Emma Lafon, SOPECAM’s Deputy General Manager Shey Peter Mabu, retired Governor Fai Yengo Francis and former Minister Henry Kibuh, including the two Chargés de Missions Prof Paul Tan and Swai Dubila Valentine, Prof Lantum commissioned Alfred Mbeng Forgwei  and his executives of the Bui V Section in Noni Sub-division on Friday, on June 24, 2016.

The three-day marathon installation exercise that took members of the Bui delegation to Bui V in Nkor-Noni, Bui II in Mbiame, Bui IB in Tatum-Nkum, Bui IV in Jakiri, Bui III in Oku and Bui 1A in Kumbo, witnessed a new spirit of enthusiasm manifested by the militants.

In his installation speeches, Professor Lantum lauded the militants for the recent hitch-free reorganization exercise of the basic organs and praised them for their steadfastness to the objectives of the party. He called for love, forgiveness and a spirit of reconciliation. He called for humility amongst elected officials.

"You must be servants, not rulers;” Prof. Lantum cautioned the Section executives and urged them to embark on an aggressive crusade for new militants of the party in preparation for future elections. The Divisional Permanent Coordination team also spelled out to militants their roles which they said neither contradict nor conflict with those of the section executives.
