Matthew Esegemo is the leader of Jungo, Nkongho-Mbo people living in Dibanda, Mile 14, Buea, in Fako Division of the South West Region. His Royal Highness Chief Ngale Ikome of Dibanda, Buea, installed him on June 18, 2016, in the presence of His Royal Highness Nkendem John Fonjungo of Jungo, Nkongho-Mbo village in the Nguti Subdivision, Kupe-Muanenguba Division.
Addressing the population, both Chiefs called for unity, explaining that it will usher in more peace and development. They deplored divisive tendencies and promised to deal accordingly with the perpetrators. Chief Ngale Ikome advised the family head to be duty-conscious and humane in carrying out his functions.
The President General of the Nkongho-Mbo meeting that holds in Dibanda, Fotabe Gabriel, extended his appreciation to the population and pledged to work hand in glove with the family head for the interest of both Nkongho-Mbo and Dibanda Mile 14. This, he said, will be done while respecting the customs and traditions of the people of the land. Present at the heavily-attended ceremony among others was Mr. Justice Fonjock Ekenya of Buea Appeal Curt. Feasting ended the occasion.
