Bui Section Executive Commissioned

Six Section Presidents and their executives of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) in Bui Division of the North West Region have been commissioned by members of the Permanent Divisional Delegation of the CPDM Central Committee led by Prof. Daniel Lantum, accompanied by his team members; Senator Emma Lafon, SOPECAM’s Deputy General Manager Shey Peter Mabu, retired Governor Fai Yengo Francis and former Minister Henry Kibuh.

From June 24, 2016, a three-day marathon installation exercise took members of the Bui delegation to Bui V in Nkor-Noni, Bui II in Mbiame, Bui IB in Tatum-Nkum, Bui IV in Jakiri and Bui III in Oku and Bui 1A in Kumbo. The ceremonies witnessed a new spirit of enthusiasm manifested by the militants. Prof. Lantum urged the new executives to embark on an aggressive crusade for new militants of the party in preparation for future elections.

North West MPs Concerned About Potential Social Unrest

Social Democratic Front’s (SDF) members of the National Assembly of North West extraction have called on government to take urgent and tactful measures to avert looming social unrest in the region. The MPs were speaking to the press in Yaounde recently after meeting the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation, René Emmanuel Sadi, to whom they presented their worries on the different crises ongoing in the region.

According to the leader of the SDF Parliamentary Group, Hon. Joseph Banadzem, the issues discussed included the farmer-grazier crisis in Esu in Menchum Division chieftaincy squabbles in Bangolan in Ngoketunjia Division, tensions in Ndu in Donga-Mantung Division as a result of privatisation of the tea estate.  

CPDM Mbam-Inoubou II

Obsequies For Section President

Late Barrister Augustin Eboueme Ebaka, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) and President of the Mbam and Inoubou II CPDM Section will be laid to rest in his native Bokito on Saturday, July 16, 2016. His remains will be removed today, July 13, 2016 from the Yaounde General Hospital and honoured by the judiciary at the Supreme Court before departure for Bokito.
